Your First Visit at Pacific Northwest Prosthodontics

If you’ve arrived for an appointment at Pacific Northwest Prosthodontics, it’s most likely because you’ve been referred to us by your general dentist, periodontist, or oral surgeon. As specialists in prosthodontics, Drs. Brooks and Johnson have advanced training in the restoration of aesthetics and health of teeth with crowns, dentures, implants, and a variety of other treatments.

During your initial consultation, Dr. Brooks or Dr. Johnson will go over your oral health and learn about your ultimate goals for your smile and the function of your teeth. We will take all the time you need to answer your questions about prosthodontics and the various treatment options provided at our office, including the cost of each option. We will perform basic charting and do an initial exam, and if necessary, we will create a diagnostic impression of your teeth and take X-rays.

We often offer a complimentary follow-up appointment to solidify your treatment plan, which gives you time to go over your options with your loved ones and consider which treatment will fit best with your lifestyle. You’ll never be pushed into making a decision you’re not prepared for.

It is important to our doctors and staff that you feel comfortable when you’re in our office. We understand that undergoing prosthodontic treatment can be an emotional experience, but we want you to know you’ve come to the right place. Not only do our doctors have extensive clinical experience, but they also have a compassionate chairside manner.
